MARTWICK HAS THE MONEY, MANPOWER TO BEAT O'TOOLE IN 10TH DISTRICT

Rob Martwick will beat Danny O’Toole in the March 17 10th District Democratic state senator primary for three reasons: Martwick will spend $300,000 to O’Toole’s $30,000. Martwick will have ten mailings to O’Toole’s two. And O’Toole will not win the 41st Ward by the requisite 70 percent he needs to prevail districtwide.  Martwick will prevail 60/40. "OLIGARCHY PARTY" REIGNS SUPREME IN CHICAGO'S NORTHWEST SIDE POLITICS

And, most importantly and if possible, LEAVE NO KIN BEHIND. If there is some cushy vacant job to which one’s kid or spouse can be appointed, then JUST DO IT. Real quick. An oligarchy is defined as a form of government in which ruling power belongs to a few persons…and that means Democratic committeepersons for legislative office, the Illinois Supreme Court for judicial office, and the county Democratic chairman for party office. Here is an analysis of IL House contests in the 19th and 20th Districts. Full Article...

''YEAR OF THE LATINA"" LOOMS IN RACES FOR CLERK, JUDGES

It is conventionally postulated that age 70 is the new age 50. In 2020 politics, Latinas – Hispanic women candidates -- are the new Irish-surnamed women. “The “Year of the Latina” looms. Conventional wisdom, as demonstrated in the past three decades, dictates that surnames and gender are determinative in contests where the candidates are unknown, such as judge or Metropolitan Water Reclamation commissioner. Women, especially with Irish surnames, invariably beat men (even with Irish names) and women with ethnic- or African-American-sounding surnames. Men win when multiple women run. Non-conventional wisdom may prevail on March 17. Full Article...
